A much celebrated NZ author, her accolades include the Delores Boccanera Poetry Prize, awarded by the British literary magazine Dandelion. She has been appointed a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) in recognition of her services to literature, with her children's stories published in NZ School journals and read over NZ National Radio.
