Double Koru
The Koru which is the Maori word for loop/coil is a traditional Maori symbol which depicts the appearance of a new unfurling fern frond, this opening new frond is representative of new life, new beginnings, purity and spirituality. The spiral shape implies perpetual movement and the circle of life, bringing hope and personal growth.
The double intertwined Koru symbolises unity and bonding of love within relationships, often the family, particularly the Mother and child.
